Inbetween at Varmere Våtere Villere

March, 2026
11/03, 12:00 - 13/03, 20:00

Østre, 5017 Bergen, Østre Skostredet 3

What is happening in the in-between-spaces at the festival? Between the sessions, topics, people, and places?

This year, we are collaborating with Varmere Våtere Villere, who have designed a series of activities to support you to pause, sense, reflect, play, and learn – both on your own and alongside fellow festival goers.

The festival is a buzzing meeting place full of possibilities. Together with you, we want to acknowledge and appreciate all the learning and inspiration before they fade into our busy lives. We want to allow them to land and integrate, inform and build on each other, to weave a shared and embodied understanding of what is happening below the surface and what might grow from it.

Join us the ground floor at Østre for a coffee on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 12:00 – 20:00!  Take a moment to relax, explore and decide for yourself how much you want to engage — all levels of participation are welcome.

What Brings You / What Stays With You

We are curious to get to know what brought you here and what you are taking with you. Meet us at the ticket office at the ground floor at Østre to contribute to the installations by adding a sticker, shape or note.

Interaction Table

This is the place you can come to engage with other people known or unknown. At a dedicated table, you will find shapes and questions that help you build a conversation. A facilitator can also support you if you don’t know how to start or get stuck.

Reflective Questions

What moved you? What stayed with you? What are you wondering about now? Around the festival venues you will find simple questions to help you notice what is unfolding beneath the surface.

Meet-ups: Sensemaking Circles

On Thursday and Friday evening at 18:00, we invite you to two meet-ups where you can digest what you have experienced in order to make sure that it can integrate and carry forward. This is the space for you to pause and sense what has changed for you. To listen to what other people have experienced and to sense how that relates to you. Together, we will observe the connections between all these different learnings and start seeing the festival as a whole.
