The assignment: The nursing shortage does not spare institutions in the booming metropolis of Berlin. Therefore, a foundation dedicated to caring for seniors and people with disabilities in the Köpenick area must address how to remain viable in the future. As part of a three-year process, the foundation’s public image (corporate design and employer branding) and its internal self-conception (mission statements) are to be completely modernized and overhauled. A participatory organizational development approach is planned, involving active participation of the employees from start to finish.
Our contribution: We have been supporting the process initiated by our partner Wigwam since the finalization of the mission statement. Workshops were held with representatives from all professions and levels of the foundation, collaboratively developing the vision, mission, and values step by step. We continue to support the sustainable implementation of the corporate design, the mission statement, and the participatory development of the employer brand. In particular, we have worked continuously with the leadership team over several years on implementing the leadership mission statement.
Why we enjoy working with the Köpenick Social Foundation: Rarely do we have the privilege of working with such a diverse workforce in our workshops. The employees’ dedication is unparalleled and highly contagious. Additionally, we appreciate that this project consistently integrates participatory organizational development and corporate design.
