BSPW is the abbreviation for “beispielsweise” which means “for example” in German. When we chose this beautiful name in 2018 I was obviously not yet aware that I would move to Norway 6 years later. But looking at it from today it makes a lot of sense for BSPW to expand to Norway and I aim to make it beneficial to Norway in the long run as well.

BSPW / F.EKS. expresses that

• We want to work with people and organizations that set a good example in society.
• We want to be hands-on, offer holistic experiences and be approachable and understandable in what we do. 
• We do not believe that there is one solution that fits all and we do not wish to become a sales agent for one particular method. Instead we want to offer a variety approaches (“for example this or that”) trusting that the client knows best what change will make the desired difference. 

So I always co-lead with our clients. I am in charge of finding suitable ways to address a topic, being aware what choosing those approaches implicates and of course also executing them in a both accurate but also attuned and if necessary flexible way. While it is the client who leads in terms of content and impact by evaluating again and again whether we are moving towards the goal she set herself. This approach can be challenging to both the process facilitator and the client but it is in my experience the only way to create a lasting impact.

Change Thinking. Think Change.

How we interact with the world depends on our inner landscape, e.g. on our mental and physical condition, the way we conceptualize things and how we relate to them. If we want to create sustainable change in the world we also need to have a look at what is going on inside of us. And we need to be acutely aware of the power of framing that the methods we choose to offer as a facilitator entail. 

Thus, while we are working on topics that show up on a meso-level in your work environment, we are also always addressing an individual level. At the same time all of that is happening and making sense within a societal context, on which our work will have an effect as well.
